Yoga can be a great compliment to Ayurveda, as these healing methods were meant to be practiced together. Many of my clients choose to work with me privately or in small groups to get individualized instruction that is appropriate for their constitution and health goals.
About My Yoga Practice
I have been practicing yoga for 25 years. Ashtanga Yoga (“LIGHT”) has been my primary practice since 2001. I love studying all methods of yoga, and tailor my approach to meet the needs and levels of my students. I completed 200-hour Power Vinyasa Training with Eliza Whiteman at Fly Dog Yoga in 2015 and 500-hour advanced Classical Yoga Teacher Training at the Ivy Yoga School in 2019 with my teachers for over a decade, Jennifer Elliott and Caroll Ann Friedman. I am certified to teach aerial yoga (Spark Yoga, 2015) and completed the Baron Baptiste Art of Assisting Intensive in 2016.
I have taught hundreds of group classes at various yoga studios and gyms. Recently, I have shifted most of my teaching to private classes as I believe individualized, custom study can be very beneficial for preventing injury and understanding the deepest benefits of yoga.
